Wino.

Possibilities for the wine bottle redesign:

(Because I really love foxes...and I really don't like gold)

(this one isn't horrible, but I think it would be fun to redesign)

(Again, not Horrible)

(this one IS horrible)

(This is just silly... And I like the idea of redesigning a wine with a name that means "The Black Cat")

And these are some designs that I thought were interesting:

(LOVE.)

(Cool.)

(I know the picture is a bit blurry, but its a pretty neat design.)

(I love this illustration style, but the back is kinda cRaZy)

(I like this one because of the illustration, which is humorous....but the design keeps its fancy at the same time)

The Workspace

I work best in this little nook of my bedroom.
Alone. Dim lighting. A little R&B in the background...just me and my laptop (^_~)

Block of Type

My boyfriend and I rode our bikes in his neighborhood near Toco Hills/North Druid Hills. I tried to find typography other than all the obvious type you see on building fronts and billboards.

...and this is what I saw:

(on the front of my bike)

(one of my favorites)

(they used an upside down "U" for the "N")

(spayed on a parking space)

(sticker on Trevor's bike)

(Old stuff is always cool)

(Trevor's tattoo...I really like the "Dweebs" part)

Contemporary Design Trendzzz

So, I looked at a couple of articles about Graphic Design trends for 2011, and I've decided it comes down to three basic things:

1.) Simplicity

2.) More Typography

3.) Better use of the Grid
