The Foxhorn Dilemma

Alright, so the due date has been pushed back, and lets face it, we all knew my first print of the fox was too big. So, I'm just going to make a whole new plate and reprint that sucker.

Anyway, which one of these is more appealing? (The alcohol content can be added or taken away)

2.25" Fox

2.25" Fox, 2" label (the original label size)

2.25" Fox, 1.75" label

2.125"Fox, 1.75" label

I think the second to last one looks best? Or maybe the last? 

Idk...its crazy how much difference that 0.125 makes

Also, this is what my "package" is: 

I think the circle would look better than a rectangle for this design.

Investigations.

This blog post is supposed to be about printed materials I have recently "read" or "investigated" which have inspired me to design.

But here's the thing....I haven't quite "read" anything (time constraints, you know how it is.)...but I believe I've "investigated."

(I've become quite interested in these scientific drawings from old books. These are from an old dictionary we had, and the way they handled the type is interesting to me.)

(A lot of these old books have been redesigned with textured/cloth covers and these interesting printed patterns. I love them.)
